About the course
What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates of the PGCertMaterialsEng programme will have knowledge and competencies in sub-disciplines within materials engineering of specific value to their engineering practice. The PGCertMaterialsEng will introduce graduates to the core concepts of materials science and engineering, and will help them decide whether they want to continue study in this field. Potentially these students may also transition to either the MMaterialsEng or PGDipMaterialsEng instead of being awarded the PGCertMaterialsEng qualification.
