What can I expect out of this qualification?
The purpose of this Programme is to provide the New Zealand Creative Industries with performing and screen artists who reflect the attitudes,
commitment, level of skill and expertise that is expected of them in professional employment.
The Programme emphasises the development of self and professional discipline, and on interpersonal relationship capacities essential for the work environment.
Students develop a complex, individual, conscious process soundly based on knowledge, techniques, analysis and application in a hands-on learning
environment that encourages originally creative, interpretive experimentation.
The Programme is designed to develop the ability, knowledge, professional attitudes and practical experience required for graduates to enter confidently
into the Performing and Screen Arts industries. Specialist abilities and literacies are developed as required for each particular major with a focus on creative and technical fluency, and an enriched vocabulary for expression of individual talent
