What can I expect out of this qualification?

The outcome of this qualification is to outfit students with the skills they need to contribute effectively to sustainable management of freshwater resources in New Zealand and internationally. Graduates will be able to effectively apply their own specialist skills (eg in aspects of science, engineering, law) to freshwater resources management. They will be able to evaluate and justify the importance of practical experience, field work and scientific rigour in characterisation of a catchment system and assessing the effects of water use.
