What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates will have developed an advanced understanding of Maori cultural practices, oral traditions and contemporary social phenomenon in Maori and indigenous societies. They will also have engaged in the critical reading of academic material in the discipline, acquired the advanced skills for research in this area and engaged in an original piece of research.
