What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will develop skills, knowledge and competencies that will enable them to gain employment in data-science-related roles in the public and private sectors, in positions relevant to data science. They will be effective data science professionals in their chosen fields of employment, whether within or beyond New Zealand. They will have gained theoretical knowledge and practical/technical skills associated with their work. Their knowledge will be multi-disciplinary, flexible and transferable to a wide range of vocations and occupations. They will have the analytical, numeracy, and critical thinking skills to support evidence-based decision-making, and will be able to communicate the relevant information to and with communities and multi/interdisciplinary teams.
