What can I expect out of this qualification?

An MBus graduate will be able to:
* demonstrate in-depth knowledge and understanding of current theoretical concepts, frameworks and industry practice within the broader fields of business and also within their chosen major;
* think logically, analytically and critically with respect to the academic and professional literature within the fields of business and their chosen major; and
* plan and carry out independent research and analysis that demonstrates critical awareness of academic and professional issues in the fields of business and their chosen major; and
* synthesise academic and professional literature and effectively communicate findings to a range of audiences in both written and oral formats; and
* demonstrate understanding of their major in the context of a bicultural Aotearoa New Zealand and multicultural world.
Graduates will be well suited to work in a range of roles including business analyst, management trainee, operations manager or specialist roles in areas such as human resource management, marketing or supply chain management. They will be able to work in a range of organisations.
