Graduates will be able to show evidence of advanced knowledge in data science. They will be able to use data to inform solutions to workplace needs and have an awareness of what can be done with the data. They will be able to plan and implement data-informed projects working both in multidisciplinary teams and independently to apply their knowledge to new situations. They will be able to engage in rigorous intellectual analysis, criticism and problem-solving and have an understanding of what programming can offer.
