What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates of the Doctor of Health Sciences will effectively generate and utilise health data and research to inform, develop and potentially change professional practice and health systems to improve the outcomes and experiences of health consumers, whanau and communities. They will demonstrate critical application of bicultural competence in the process of research development and design.
They will provide leadership to the health workforce and their professional communities in generating and applying research that extends the boundaries of knowledge, informs health policy and system transformation, and promotes strategies to reduce inequities in health outcomes.
