Entry requirements
University Entrance or The New Zealand Certificate in Information Technology Essentials (Level 4), or an equivalent qualification. Applicants with a first language other than English must demonstrate an acceptable level of English language fluency prior to acceptance in the programme. Ways in which English language fluency may be demonstrated include: (i) completion of a programme of study in which English was the language of instruction (subject to the conditions in EIT's Database for English Language Proficiency (DELP)), (ii) approved scores on IELTS tests, namely an Academic score of 6 with no band lower than 5.5, or (iii) accepted international equivalents achieved in a single test within the two years preceding enrolment (see equivalency tables in the DELP).
