Entry requirements
A person is eligible to apply for entry who has attained University Entrance or can satisfactorily prove that s/he has the potential to succeed on the programme and is over the age of 20 by the official start date of their programme of study. A person with English as an additional language must meet the standard NZQA minimum English Proficiency Outcomes for a degree programme, namely an IELTS (Academic) score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5. Standard discretionary entrance guidelines will apply.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
The BCP aims to equip students with the skills, knowledge and attributes needed to think creatively and develop a career as a practising creative, by engaging students in a series of real-world and in-house projects utilizing various creative disciplines, including paint, sculpture, print, photography, graphic design and 3D design. Students of the BCP will learn how to conduct research by creative practice and apply it to generate creative and workable concepts and works based on understanding of the Aotearoa and global historic and contemporary context.
