What can I expect out of this qualification?
Graduates will be able to: * Discuss the role of information security with relation to modern organizational functions * Examine implementation of information security programmes and make recommendations for improvement and maintenance * Design, plan, organise and implement information security programmes in an organization * Effectively plan for future information security implementations * Conduct risk management assessments including business impact analysis * Evaluate the controls needed to protect information within the organization to include policy, education and awareness, and technology * Prevent, detect, and react to threats to information security in the organization
Key Information for Students
A degree in Computer Science or in Information Technology or equivalent, preferably with Networking, or equivalent practical, professional or educational experience in the IT industry. English Language (for international students) The minimum English language requirement for entry to the programme is IELTS (Academic) score of 6 with no band score lower than 5.5, or equivalent.
