The postgraduate Diploma in Learning Support aims to provide SENCO/School Leaders of Learning Support with a programme which integrates theory and practice to explore key aspects of the SENCO role. It aims to extend SENCO/School Leaders of Learning Supports' knowledge and skills in relation to their role and provide them with a space and place to learn with, from and about other SENCO/School Leaders of Learning Support throughout New Zealand to improve their practice. Overall this programme aims to support a strong SENCO network throughout New Zealand and improve services to students who have special needs.
