Minimum requirements

Academic Requirements for applicants under the age of 20, 42 credits at Level 3 or higher on the NZQF, including at least 14 credits at NCEA Level 3 in each of two subjects, of which at least one relates to English, and at least one creative subject, with a further 14 credits at Level 3 or higher taken from no more than two additional domains on the NQF OR successful completion of an approved pathway programme. Applicants aged 20 years or above, no academic qualifications are required. If English is not the applicant's first language they must provide evidence of an IELTS overall Academic Band score of at least 6.0 with at least 5.5 in each component, issued within the last two years OR equivalent. Additional entry requirements may include an interview, evidence of digital literacy, a portfolio. In exceptional circumstances an applicant who does not meet the academic entry requirements may be accepted at the discretion of the Academic Committee.
