The degrees of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from a university in New Zealand (or an approved equivalent medical qualification), and previous relevant training and experience.

Postgraduate Diploma in Surgical Anatomy (PGDipSurgAnat) graduates will be medical professionals with a sound working knowledge of topographical anatomy appropriate to safe and competent surgical/interventional practice. They will be able to critically assimilate and apply anatomical information to practical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and have the skills to communicate anatomical concepts clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
