What can I expect out of this qualification?
Bachelor of Dental Technology with Honours (BDentTech(Hons)) graduates will have research experience, and academic and practical knowledge in the areas of dental technology and dental biomaterials. The programme aims to broaden students knowledge, over and above that obtained through the ordinary Bachelor of Dental Technology (BDentTech) programme, and to enable them to critically evaluate concepts, understand scientific methods, and be skilled at conducting pertinent research. They will have excellent communication skills, enabling them to communicate with colleagues from an informed perspective. Graduates will be positioned to embark on an advanced professional career or further academic study at Masters or PhD level.
