Graduates will be competent kaiako in kohanga reo working alongside whanau in the learning and development of the children's te reo and tikanga Maori.

Minimum requirements

Applicants must have achieved the National Certificate in Te Reo Maori Level 5 or equivalent and have an understanding of Tikanga Maori and must gain approval from the köhanga reo whänau as the course requires participation in the kohanga.
