Entry requirements
Applicants must attend an interview at which they present a portfolio containing 12-24 representative samples of their work that reflect their skills and potential to successfully complete the programme. NCEA University Entrance. Discretionary entrance - domestic students over 20 and those with exceptional marks at NCEA L2. International students must be at least 18 and have a minimum English Language level o f6.0 or equivalent.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
A single entry and exit degree that offers four optional subject pathways or specialisms: Fine Arts, Fashion Design, Graphic Design, Photo Media. The aims of the BFA are to integrate relevant theoretical and contextual knowledge with in-depth, specialist, practical knowledge and skills that are situated within a specific art and design profession of discipline.
