Entry requirements

The minimum age requirement is 18. Students need to have completed an approved undergraduate degree or level 7 NZQA approved course or equivalent. Overseas applicants who do not have English as first language require a minimum of 7.0 IELTS (academic), with a minimum of 7.0 in writing. A waiver for IELTS may be applied if the applicant has already received a degree from an accredited English speaking institution.

What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates' understanding and skills in theology will have been extended through academic instruction and directed research. They will have developed the ability to access and utilise a body of knowledge in application to ministries-related situations, developed rigorous analysis, independent thinking and sound communication skills. A firm base will have been established for further study at postgraduate level.
