Entry to the Master of Artificial Intelligence (MAI) requires a bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related subject with an average grade of B or better.

What can I expect out of this qualification?
Master of Artificial Intelligence graduates will demonstrate advanced knowledge of concepts and techniques in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how to apply that knowledge to real-world problems. They will be able to critique, evaluate and select AI techniques and tools appropriate for a range of problems and applications, and will be able to build AI-based systems for a wide range of applications in industry and other organisations. Graduates will be able to undertake supervised research. Graduates of the programme will be able to take up a wide variety of positions in industry and government requiring expertise in Artificial Intelligence. High performing graduates will be able to proceed to doctoral studies in Artificial Intelligence.
