What can I expect out of this qualification?

Graduates will be competent language teachers in school classrooms. They will have a knowledge of second language acquisition; linguistic description; educational theory; language curriculum design and implementation; and testing. The qualification is designed for international students who wish to enter the teaching profession in their own country and is only offered in partnership with an overseas education authority. Graduates may be able to continue to a master's degree in applied linguistics or education.
