What can I expect out of this qualification?
The BCom replaced the Bachelor of Commerce and Administration (VI0004) in 2013. Graduates will demonstrate application of critical and creative thinking skills to practical and theoretical problems; be effective communicators; have a global and multicultural perspective; recognise, support and display leadership skills; and will develop specific knowledge and skills in at least one business, economics or public policy discipline area. They may find employment as accountants, administrators, financial, information, investment, marketing, policy and supply analysts, economists, management trainees, market researchers, sales representatives and customer services consultants. Graduates who have completed specified courses with appropriate grades can continue to a Bachelor of Commerce with Honours (VI00Z5) or a Master of Commerce (VI00Z8).
