The Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDipTchg) is a 150-point programme of one calendar year that leads to registration and provisional certification as a teacher in New Zealand. University of Waikato graduates in Initial Teacher Education understand their world, their contribution to the future wellbeing of our society, and the influence that they can have on their learners.
