Minimum requirements

To gain entry: Applicants must be 17 years of age or over. Applicants must be New Zealand citizens, permanent residents or have the requisite visa for study purposes. Students must be able to demonstrate adequate literacy and/or numeracy skills to enable them to meet all academic and health and safety requirements of the programme/course on which they enrol. Applicants are required to submit a portfolio when they apply for the programme. The portfolio will show applicants creative ideas, originality, curiosity and imagination, and how they can use this within creative work. A portfolio containing 10 pieces of work: Applicants are required to submit a portfolio when they apply for the programme. Domestic applicants must: have completed an undergraduate degree in any creative technologies or related discipline; or be able to demonstrate equivalent practical, professional or educational experience(a curriculum vitae must be submitted detailing relevant work experience and educational achievements) of: o three years or o in exceptional circumstances, based on academic merit and/or relevant experience, students who do not have three years may be considered for admission subject to an interview with the Programme Area Lead, a prescribed programme of studies and approval by the Head of Department. International applicants must: have completed an undergraduate degree in any creative technologies or related discipline; or be able to demonstrate at least three years equivalent practical, professional or educational experience (a curriculum vitae must be submitted detailing relevant work experience and educational achievements).
