Careers 11 ­is a trial career education teaching resource for use with students in Year 11.  It consists of three modules that build career competencies relevant to students at this age and stage of development.

Managing directors/chief executives lead and make overall decisions for an organisation to make sure it operates effectively.

 

Graphic Designer | Kaihoahoa Whakairoiro

Job

Graphic designers create artwork or designs for printed and electronic media such as magazines, television and websites. 

Viticulturist | Kaiparuauru Kerepe

Job

Viticulturists grow and harvest grapes from grapevines, and manage vineyards.

Glass Processor | Kaiwhakarite Karaehe

Job

Glass processors prepare and process sheets of flat glass into products such as windows and mirrors for installation in buildings and related structures.

Job

Chemical production operators perform a variety of tasks involved in producing toiletries or pharmaceutical products, including ointments, creams, aerosols, tablets, capsules, bandages and vaccines.
